Cold Spring Announces Annual Senior Citizens Picnic

The Cold Spring Village Board will hold the annual Senior Citizen Picnic on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at Mayor’s Park on Fair Street. According to the board, the menu will feature “hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, beverages, desserts, and fun, fun, fun!”
Once again, the board is soliciting commercial contributions of food or paper goods. “In the past, merchants have been very generous and this picnic has been something that our seniors genuinely look forward to,” Trustee and Deputy Mayor Bruce Campbell wrote to local businesses. “We hope we can count on your support again this year.” He asked those with questions or contributions to call him at the village hall, 845-265-3611.
Mayor Seth Gallagher and Trustees J. Ralph Falloon, Charles Hustis, and Airinhos Serradas join Campbell in hosting the event.
