Three Philipstown restaurants and a country club plan to participate in the 2nd Annual Best Chefs, Fine Wine and Crafted Beer Festival, sponsored by the United Way of Westchester and Putnam Counties.
The Garrison on Route 9, Garrison, will host the event, to occur on Monday, Sept. 20, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The Bird & Bottle Inn, Garrison; Cathryn’s Tuscan Grill, in Cold Spring; and The Stadium Restaurant in Garrison all intend to participate. They will be joined by other “top restaurants from throughout Putnam,” according to the United Way, which provides assistance to disadvantaged families, children and others throughout the area.
The festival will feature samplings of signature dishes, other “delectable edibles,” and wine and beer. Tickets are available at $50 each in advance and $60 at the door. Those interested can find more information and purchase tickets online. See: www.uwwp.org/festival.htm
