  1. Very nice interview; thoughtful coverage of a range of local and state issues. Sandy does do a terrific job of keeping in touch with all her constituents and explores issues in depth. As a Garrison school board member, I have attended some of her meetings n consolidation and they have been very informative. The funding of schools through local property taxes is a large barrier to consolidation of school districts because of different economic fundamentals in each district. Consolidation of courts and fire departments should be easier. Good luck to Sandy next week.
