Our Lady of Loreto Roman Catholic Church in Cold Spring celebrated Our Lady of Guadalupe on Sunday Nov. 7. Immediately after 11:45 mass, the congregation, led by Father Brian McSweeney marched from the church down Main Street to the riverfront bandstand where they recited the Holy Rosary. After ceremonies at the bandstand the procession retraced its route back to the church

  1. This is not Corpus Christi (which we celebrated with a procession on Sunday, June 6, 2010) The procession on Nov 7th was in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Her mission to promote reverence for life, the sanctity of the family, and conversions of those who have not yet come to know of the love of God. As Our Lady of Guadalupe is also the Patroness of the Americas, We also prayed for Her continued protection of the United States.
