Church opens its doors this Saturday for two holiday events

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church opens its doors this Saturday for two holiday events. As in the past, the church is participating in the Cold Spring by Candlelight tours of historic village buildings, but this year along with the church and Parish Hall the rectory will be open as well. As a bonus, parishioners assembled an exhibit of historic documents related to Cold Spring and St. Mary’s; it will be on view in the church and accessible to the general public in addition to those on the candlelight tour. Moreover, St. Mary’s will host its annual Holiday Fair in the Parish Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will include hand-made craft items as well as baked goods and specialty foods, such as sauces, chili, quiches, and soups, ready to be sampled and taken home. St. Mary’s is located in the heart of Cold Spring at the corner of Chestnut Street-Morris Avenue (Route 9D) and Main Street (Route 301).
