Blood Drive on Feb. 10, 11

Philipstown Community Blood Drive begins a two-day drive today Thursday, Feb. 10 and continuing on Friday, Feb. 11 at the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company. Donations can be made between 2-8pm on both days. The drive more crucial than usual due to anticipated donations lost during the Dec. 26 blizzard and additional anticipated winter storms. Drive chair Del Fidanque notes that New York Blood Center staff will be available regardless of weather conditions. Fidanque reminds donors that “there is no artificial substitute for whole blood, so your donations make a huge difference.
