On Wednesday, March 2, Philipstown.info will host a forum for the candidates running for mayor and trustees of Cold Spring at 69 Main St. in Cold Spring. The hour and a half forum is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and will be offered on a first-come basis. 
       The forum will be  be streamed live on www.ustream.com. Those wishing to view the forum online should log onto ustream after 7 p.m. and enter a keyword search for “philipstowninfo,” which will connect you to the live stream. A complete video of the forum will be posted on Philipstown.info on Friday March 4.
       The evening will be divided into two parts with the mayoral candidates appearing first. After introductory remarks by Philipstown.info publisher Gordon Stewart, each candidate will make an introductory statement. Philipstown.info will then pose basic questions about a variety of issues pertinent to Cold Spring. The second part of the forum will feature the candidates for trustee; following the same format.
           Mayoral candidates are incumbent Mayor Seth Gallagher and former mayor Anthony Phillips. Candidates for the two open trustee office positions are: current trustees Bruce Campbell and J.
