Following the sucess of the previous two Community Day celebrations, Community Day 2011 begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 3 with a parade down Main St. The complete schedule of events is listed below. 

2 p.m. Parade starting on Chestnut Street by Chestnut Ridge Apartments and proceeding down Main Street to the bandstand 

2:55 p.m. Sara Peparo honored at the bandstand, with presentation by Congresswoman Nan Hayworth 

3 p.m. Bicycle Decorating Contest 

3:10 p.m. Hudson River Shakespeare to perform on the Dock 

3:30 p.m.Mark Rust performing Veterans of All Wars Tribute 

4:15 p.m. Mark Rust performing Children’s Concert 

5:15 p.m. until the fireworks Lions Club DJ Rockin’ to the 80s at the bandstand 

AT DOCKSIDE PARK 

3-5 p.m. Garrison Art Center Festival Presentation 

3-5 p.m. Martial Arts Demonstration 

5— 6:30 p.m. Assorted Youth Bands performing 

6:30- 7:30 p.m. Annie & the Natural Wonder Band 

7:30 -8:30 p.m. Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams 

8:30 – 9:45 p.m.Foundry All Stars Performing 

Approximately 9 p.m. Fireworks Display
