Little League registration now open
Fall baseball in Philipstown will be starting once again this coming September. Last fall the 10-U [under] team had a very successful season, finishing with a record of 9-1. This year the league will expand the fall teams into 2 age groups: an 11-U and a 10-U team. Teams for both the 11-U year old and 10-U year olds are now forming. Children must have reached the required age by April 30, 2011. There is a possibility of an 8/9-U baseball team, if there is a coach and enough boys interested.

The pitch
All games will take place against other District 17 towns on Saturday afternoons with start times of 2 p.m. and later. Games are expected to begin on Sept. 10 and end Oct. 29. We are projecting at least 8 games for all teams. There should be no conflict with Soccer or Football practices or other games.
Registration fees are $100 for one player and $150 for two or more players in the same family. Please go to the Philipstown Little League website and download the fall ball registration form. Completed forms must be submitted via mail to the Philipstown Little League – with the registration form, birth certificate and associated payment enclosed. Please email Eddie Tock with any questions.
