Adverse Road Conditions Modify GUFS Bus Routes

The Garrison School will open as scheduled on Friday Sept. 2.  The Purple and Blue buses will run according to their regular schedules with a few additional emergency stops along Routes 9, 403 and 9D. Due to impassable roads, the Yellow, Red and Orange buses will not pick up students at their regular bus stops.  Parents of children on these routes are asked to meet their bus at the Garrison Firehouse on Route 9. 
        Please check the school’s website at  for details about bus stop locations and times.  District Superintendent Gloria Colucci says these arrangements will remain in place until the roads have been deemed safe for school bus travel and that updates will be provided on the school’s website.
