The 2nd annual Pumpkin Glow event, sponsored by the Friends of the Desmond-Fish library , took place on Sunday Oct. 23rd on the steps of the library in Garrison. It was attended by 120 adults and children with 42 carved jack-o-lanterns proudly on display. After looking at the glowing pumpkins, some funny, some scary, the children danced and sang along to music played bylocal musician Stacy Labriola. Cider donuts and apple cider from Philipstown Market made the evening complete. For information about becoming a Friend of the Library, please call the library at 845-424-3020.
