Hudson Beach Glass offers workshops
Open for ages 6+, the workshops will allow participants to choose the colors and textures of the ornament and then to “add your breath to it permanently.” Master glassblower, John Gilvey will on-hand weekends through the end of the year. Each ornament takes 15 minutes to create, but must remain overnight to cool. The cost for each ornament is $30.
Reservations can be made by calling 845-440-0068, but walk-ins are welcome. Group reservations can be accommodated most week-days. Hudson Beach Glass is located at 162 Main St. in Beacon. Hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (except Sundays that begin at 11 a.m.)
