Warm a cold critter on a wintry night: The Putnam Humane Society is conducting a drive to collect blankets to help keep its adoptable dogs toasty while they wait to find homes. Blankets can be brought to two Cold Spring drop-off locations – the Butterfield Library, at 10 Morris Ave. (Route 9D), and the pet-accessories shop Reigning Cats and Dogs Too, at 169 Main St. (Route 301).
