Recent board decision shifts formal monthly meeting
Breaking with tradition – at least recent tradition – the Philipstown Town Board will now hold all its meetings at 7:30 p.m., at Town Hall unless otherwise announced. Previously, the board met for workshop sessions on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m., but convened its formal monthly board meetings at 8 p.m. on Thursdays. Thanks to a recent board decision, the formal monthly meetings, still held on the first Thursday of the month, will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The next formal Town Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 238 Main St., Cold Spring.
