Donated items will raise money and help the environment

The Haldane PTA is asking residents to protect the environment by donating used consumer electronics and unwanted, broken or mismatched jewelry to their recycling fundraiser. Used item(s) may be tax deductible and will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations. 100 percent of the proceeds are earmarked for PTA programs. Items can be dropped off in specially marked boxes at the elementary, middle or high school offices. More information may be found at the PTA website.

Items being collected include: cell phones, laptop computers, digital cameras, handheld game systems, digital video cameras,  inkjet cartridges, electronic book readers, mp3 players, GPS devices,  radar detectors,  and gold, silver and platinum jewelry.
