Hudson Valley Food & Wine TastingÂ
Fancy yourself a connoisseur of fine food & drink? Or are you seeking the perfect caterer or special libation for your upcoming wedding or other special event? Join Boscobel for their first annual food and wine sampling where they are bringing together some of the finest caterers and wineries located in the Hudson Valley and beyond. This tented event — tent donated by Events Unlimited of Saugerties, NY — will take place in Boscobel’s bucolic West Meadow overlooking the Hudson River (Boscobel’s most popular wedding venue) and promises a delicious afternoon for all.
As of this writing, participants who will be serving the mouthwatering samples include B&L Catering, Block Factory Tamales & Catering, Bridge Creek Catering, East Fishkill Provisions, Fresh Company Catering, Holbert’s Catering, In Thyme Catered Events, Legends Wines-Featuring Ivana Trump Blue Champagne, Main Course Catering, Oliver Kita Catering, Stone Ridge Orchard, Breezy Hill Orchard & Cider Mill, The Winery at St. George and Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery.
Music will be provided by Czech soprano, Gabriela Mikova and harpist, Stephanie Babirak.
A Taste of Boscobel 2012 takes place on Sunday, May 20 from 1-4 p.m. Advance ticket purchase is requested, but walk-ins are welcome. Rates are $30/person for the Food & Wine Sampler ticket, $20/person for the Food-Only Sampler (designated drivers, teens, etc.), reduced rates are available for members of the Friends of Boscobel and admission is free for children 12 and under (with a paid adult.)
