Purple Heart Medal

The Purple Heart will be presented to two veterans

On Monday, May 28, at 2 p.m., the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor will commemorate the 1932 ceremony that awarded the Purple Heart to 138 veterans of World War I, at Temple Hill in New Windsor.  Activities will include:

  • Performance by the U.S. Army Hellcats
  • Presentation of the Purple Heart to two veterans
  • Artillery Demonstration and cannon salute to the fallen
