Local artisans Judie Gordon and Patty Villanova present a special sale and holiday preview of unique jewelry, accessories and hand-painted silks at their first annual trunk show Oct. 19-20.

Gordon’s jewelry, sold under the Giadelle label, has been featured in Anthropologie and Fortunoff’s as well as her Cold Spring salon and other boutiques. Each piece is an original, handcrafted design — Victorian, vintage looking with a gothic edge.

Villanova’s colorful, hand-painted silk scarves and accessories are sold on Main Street at Side Effects/NY, as well as in galleries, boutiques and online at Etsy. Whether it’s a silk scarf or embellished purse, each piece is a signed original that can never be duplicated due to the process and materials that are used, which include French dyes and resists.
