Garrison Art Center’s 2012 Visiting Artist, Melissa Meyer, will be giving an informative presentation on artists’ colonies and residencies, My Life as a Colonist, on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 2:30 p.m. The presentation is free to Art Center members, $10 for non-members.

Melissa has extensive experience at numerous colonies. Melissa’s work is on exhibit in the Riverside Galleries through Nov. 18. See more about Melissa at her website, melissameyerstudio.com.

If you are not a member of the Art Center, there is still time to join, and the membership will be good through Dec. 31, 2013.
