The Cold Spring Police Department reports that no one suffered injuries in a two-car accident on Chestnut Street on Saturday morning, Dec. 8. According to the police, the accident took place at the intersection of Wall and Chestnut Streets at 9:25 a.m. The police said on Sunday that, after investigation, “it appears that a Jeep Liberty operated by a local newspaper delivery man apparently failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the northbound lane striking a northbound vehicle. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene.” The department classified it as a “two-vehicle property-damage automobile accident.”
