Sheriff Arrests Man for Child Endangerment

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Monday, July 1, reported the recent arrest of a Philipstown man on a charge of child endangerment following a complaint lodged by a Westchester parent.

The Sheriff’s Department stated that the incident began with a report from an unidentified man that his ex-wife’s boyfriend had physically abused the first man’s 12-year-old son. The department investigated and on Saturday arrested an individual on a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
