Samuel Francis Stafford, known to friends and family as Sam, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, in Cold Spring.
Sam, of Garrison, was born June 14, 1994 at Hudson Valley Hospital Center, in Cortlandt Manor. He attended St. Philip’s Nursery School, in Garrison, followed by Garrison Union Free School through 8th grade. He also attended Haldane High School, in Cold Spring.
Sam is survived by his parents Frank and Betty Stafford; his brother William; grandmother Yvonne McReynolds, of Longview, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and his beloved cat, Hayley.
A visitation will be held at the Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street , Cold Spring, on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a memorial service at St. Philip’s Church in the Highlands, 1101 Route 9D Garrison, NY at 10 a.m., Monday Dec. 23, 2013.
An avid skateboarder and free spirit, Sam is greatly loved and missed by all. We love you, man.
