I would like to take this opportunity to support Michael Bowman and Cathryn Fadde in their runs for trustees for the Village of Cold Spring.

It was a privilege to sit with Michael Bowman on the Board of Governors of the Cold Spring Fire Company No. 1. Michael held the office of president with truthfulness and righteousness to serve the members of the fire company. As a volunteer firefighter, Michael has put himself out there for the community that he loves.

I have known Cathryn Fadde for many years and have admired her eagerness and dedication to the Village of Cold Spring. As a member of the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Cold Spring Special Board, Cathryn has brought her commitment to the forefront. Cathryn is an associate member of the Cold Spring Fire Company and has given the time and resources she has available to help serve the company as well.

The Village of Cold Spring needs people like Michael Bowman and Cathryn Fadde as trustees. They will bring with them a heartfelt desire to serve this community. I firmly believe that as village trustees they will be open to listen to all village residents and stakeholders. I trust that they will work with the entire community in making the Village of Cold Spring the best it can be for all of us. I am humbled to be a resident of this amazing village with them as I honor to call them my friends.

If you are looking for a Breath of Fresh Air on the Village of Cold Spring Board of Trustees, you will join me in voting for Michael Bowman and Cathryn Fadde on March 18.

  1. With all due respect, I cannot agree. I see two very nice people who love the village as many of us do, but as someone who lives in close proximity to Butterfield, I don’t want the project rubber-stamped approved as these two candidates indicated they would do. What we need are professionals who can understand and deal with the complexities and minimize negative impacts on residents. Francisco and MacDonald are the professionals who can and will protect residents interests and make sure we get it right. If they were not offering their services as trustees, our village could not afford their services otherwise.
