The event will feature tree planting, local music, and refreshments, and special guest, City of Beacon Mayor Randy Casale, who will deliver the Arbor Day proclamation. The event will also feature a Native American Tree Blessing; a presentation on historic tree propagation by Richie Cabo of Sargent-Downing Gardens & Nursery; The Solar Trailer; and performances by The Rivertown Kids, Solar Sound Band, Craig Chin, Miss Vickie; and Poet Laureate Larry Sansone.

Clearwater is participating in this community celebration as part of an ongoing Urban and Community Forestry grant from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
