‘The Great Dance’ Screens May 10 in Poughkeepsie

Presentation to follow on San Bushmen

All are invited to the screening of the film The Great Dance (senseafrica.com) with presentations to follow by Peter and Cecilia Dinio Durkin about their new nonprofit — TrACKS, Transferring Ancient Culture, Knowledge Skills to preserve the “Old Way,” on May 10.

The program includes stories of life in Botswana and the San Bushmen. Explore art, food, and traditional drinks including sorghum beer (for those brave enough and over 21.) Gallery opens at 4 p.m. The documentary will be shown at 7:30 p.m. followed by the presentation at 8:30 p.m. Free and open to the public. Donations welcome.
