Academies require Congress member’s nomination

Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) has invited Hudson Valley students to take part in a Service Academy Informational Workshop Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the auditorium of Newburgh Free Academy located at 201 Fullerton Ave. in Newburgh.

The workshop will focus on informing prospective U.S. Service Academy applicants about the Service Academy application process as well as how to apply for a nomination to a U.S. Service Academy through his office.
