To accommodate culvert project

To allow replacement of a culvert or small bridge just west of the Indian Brook Road intersection with Route 9, access to Indian Brook Road will be closed as of Wednesday, July 22, until further notice, according to Philipstown Highway Superintendent Roger M. Chirico.

Chirico stated that Indian Brook Road off of Route 9D will remain open and advised drivers to use that or Avery Road, off of Snake Hill Road, as alternate routes. He reminded motorists that “you are to abide [by] all road restrictions” and said “your cooperation is appreciated.” Further details are available from the highway department at 845-265-3530.
