Graveyard tour and silent auction planned
St. Philip’s Church in the Highlands in Garrison will present a graveyard tour and talk by the Rev. Frank Geer (who “has been here long enough to know where all the bodies are buried”) and silent auction and wine reception on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The talk begins at 4 p.m. and the reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. in the parish house. Jazz pianist Bert Rechtschaffer will perform.
The suggested donation for the fundraiser is $50 per person. St. Philip’s is located at 1101 Route 9D. The church youth group will provide childcare for $10 per child, or $25 for three or more children from the same family. RSVPs are welcome by calling 845-424-3571.
