Police allege he also resisted arrest

Putnam County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Philipstown man on Friday, Nov. 6, on charges of third-degree assault and resisting arrest. David G. Cashman, 55, who allegedly assaulted his 20-year-old son during an argument, was arrested after the deputies responded at 7:54 a.m. to a 911 call at 4 Steuben Road in Continental Village.
