Museum offers unique holiday gift

The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in Cornwall has launched its annual program that allows supporters to pay for the food and care of its animals for a year. Sponsorships also can be given as gifts.

A $25 donation sponsors a fish, frog, mouse, lizard, salamander, dove or invertebrate (crayfish, millipede, tarantula), $35 will provide for a chipmunk, snake, crow, rabbit, turtle, American eel or Brook trout, and $50 will take care of an owl or opossum or contribute to a pond habitat, the exhibit construction fund or an outdoor birdfeeder exhibit.

Each sponsor receives a personalized certificate, a photo of the animal and has his or her name displayed in the museum. To download a sponsorship form, visit hhnaturemuseum.org. For more information, call 845-534-7781.
