Will serve through June 30
The Howland Public Library Board of Trustees has begun a search for an interim trustee to serve from February 3 through June 30. Trustees are expected to attend monthly board meetings held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the library, 313 Main St.
Each trustee should also be prepared to serve on a committee and be able to attend monthly committee meetings, as well. Trustees must be U.S. citizens and residents of the Beacon City School District. The deadline is Friday, Jan. 22. If the appointed trustee wishes to continue to serve, he or she would to run for election in April.
