Sam Green shorts to be screened at Binnacle
Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Sam Green will screen some of his short films at Binnacle Books in Beacon at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 12. Based in San Francisco and New York, Green’s 2002 film The Weather Underground was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature; it was also shown that year at the Whitney Biennial. His other films include The Measure of All Things (2014), The Rainbow Man/John 3:16 (1997) and The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller (2012), a live cinematic collaboration with indie rock band Yo La Tengo. For more information, visit samgreen.to.
