Butterfly expert Charlie Roberto to speak

The Putnam Highlands Audubon Society will hold its annual dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 at the Taconic Outdoor Education Center off Route 301 in Cold Spring. The speaker will be Charlie Roberto, who will discuss the importance of butterflies as pollinators. Roberto has been a member of the New York City and North American butterfly clubs for more than 30 years and also created butterfly lists for Teatown Lake Reservation and the Anne Odell Garden at Hubbard Lodge in Cold Spring.
