Pipes being put into place on Butterfield project
The Village of Cold Spring announced that, beginning today (May 11) at about 8 a.m., the water main on the perimeter of the Butterfield property will be isolated from the rest of the distribution system to allow for construction of the site’s water main.

Beginning on Monday, May 16, the contractor will flush the newly constructed mains prior to disinfection. This will undoubtedly cause some discoloration in the surrounding area, the extent and duration of which is unknown.
The Village Water Department said it would be onsite to ensure that all efforts are made to minimize inconvenience to residents.
