Putnam Valley father will discuss battle and book

Joe Bagnato of Putnam Valley will share the story of his 15-year-old daughter Caitlyn’s 10-month battle with Stage 4 liver cancer and his book, Caitlyn’s F.I.G.H.T (Family Inspires Great Hope Together), at the Howland Public Library in Beacon at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.

After Caitlyn’s death in 2009, Bagnato created a foundation to provide emotional support and financial assistance to children at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center who are battling rare forms of cancer and blood disorders.
