First Beacon Fringe Festival May 20-21

The first Beacon Fringe Theatre Festival, organized by 4th Wall Theatrical Productions, will take place on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, at KuBe (the old high school building), 211 Fishkill Ave.

The schedule begins Friday with Errant Space / The River Flows Two Ways at 5 p.m., the experimental work Requiem by PaperHill Theatre Co. (Laura Donovan and Emily Dykeman, co-founders) at 6 p.m., Fresh Rolls of Linen, a short play by Gabriel Chalfin-Piney at 7:30 p.m. and a musical performance by The Mindstream at 9 p.m.

The Saturday schedule begins with The Hero’s Journey: A Musical, by Carol Elkins at 4:30 p.m., a performance to be determined at 6 p.m., A Lot to Say, by Jocelyn Johnson-Kearney at 7:30 p.m. and the one-act play Teddy and the Tin Foil Hat, by Keaton Weiss at 9 p.m.
