Maple syrup, goats and chickens on agenda
The Desmond-Fish Library will host a Community Field Trip to Lanza Farms in Garrison on Saturday, May 21.
Registered participants will meet at the library at 10:30 a.m. and travel together to the farm to see how maple syrup is collected and produced, cuddle with baby goats and collect chicken eggs. There will be a goat cheese tasting and a story on the lawn. To reserve a spot, call 845-424-3020.
