Friday, Jan. 20

2:45 p.m. – Caller on Main Street reports past burglary.

Saturday, Jan. 21

1:45 a.m. – After a traffic stop on Main Street, Malik Nemley, 21, of Middletown and Algenis Rodriguez-Perez, 25, of Middletown were each charged with possession of marijuana.

2:45 a.m. – After a traffic stop on Route 9D, Derek Colon, 20, of Middletown was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana. Alexander Shodai, 20, of Middletown was charged with possession of marijuana.

4 a.m. – After stopping a vehicle operated by Jacquelin Farrow, 19, of Jamaica, New York, for driving without headlights on Route 9D, it was determined that the vehicle was unregistered and had switched license plates. As officers attempted to impound the vehicle a struggle for Farrow’s purse began. Once she was secured in custody, an illegal, loaded 9mm semiautomatic handgun was located inside the purse. Marijuana and a large quantity of drug paraphernalia were also located inside the vehicle. Farrow was charged with three counts of felony possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. She was arraigned in Beacon City Court and held on bail.

5:30 a.m. – Officers responded to an apartment on Main Street for a call that a male, who was unknown to the 71-year-old caller, had knocked on the door of the apartment and then unlawfully entered and punched her. Upon arrival to the area officers located the suspect, who was identified as Abimael Rivera, 22, of Middletown. When officer attempted to place Rivera into custody he struggled and was eventually subdued and placed under arrest. Rivera was charged with felony burglary, attempted assault, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. He was arraigned in Beacon City Court and held on bail.

8:15 a.m. – After an incident on South Avenue, Peter Lancos, 35, of Beacon was charged with assault and possession of marijuana.

11:15 a.m. – A caller on Main Street reported damage to the awning of a business.

5:15 p.m. – After a call about a fight on Herbert Street, Keisean Spencer, 18, of Fishkill was charged with possession of stolen property.

7:15 p.m. – Officers investigated a report of an assault on Tompkins Terrace.

Sunday, Jan. 22

10:10 a.m. – After an incident on Liberty Street, Erik Thompson, 38, of Wallkill was charged with assault.

2 p.m. – A caller on Main Street reported a pocketbook stolen from a business.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

10 a.m. – A caller on Wolcott Avenue reported a disagreement between landlord and tenant. Both parties spoken to.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

9:15 p.m. – After a report of an assault on North Avenue, Daniel Searles, 28, of Beacon was charged with criminal mischief and criminal contempt. Tania Soto, 44, of Beacon was charged with attempted assault.

Thursday, Jan. 26

10:50 a.m. – Caller on Hudson Avenue reported generator stolen from property.

12:30 p.m. – Caller on Hammond Plaza reported vehicle broken into and items and cash missing.

8:45 p.m. – After a report of an assault on Tompkins Avenue, a 17-year-old male of Beacon was charged with robbery, criminal mischief and assault.
