Fundraiser will aid Syrian children

Beacon artists Russell Ritell, Carla Goldberg, and David Link have launched Art for Aleppo: Postcards to Humanity to raise awareness and money to provide Syrian children emergency care, food and water.

To participate, create and mail a postcard that expresses your reaction to the humanitarian crisis in Syria to P.O. Box 158, Cold Spring, NY 10516. See artforaleppo.org for guidelines.

All postcards will be displayed and offered for sale at an exhibit at the Catalyst Gallery in Beacon on Saturday, Apr. 22. A book with the postcard art will be created and sold as well. Proceeds will be donated to the Save the Children’s Syrian Children’s Relief Fund. The deadline for submissions is Apr. 15.
