Children must turn 4 by Dec. 1 for Beacon program
Children who live in the Beacon City School District who will be 4 years old by Dec. 1 can attend pre-kindergarten during the 2017-18 school year. The program helps children transition to kindergarten and enhances developmental skills. It is available at the four district elementary schools, Cedar Street Daycare and Rose Hill Manor.
