Rajene Hardeman will present a free workshop at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, at the Howland Public Library in Beacon on how the internet works and how to protect yourself online.

The workshop is based on curricula developed by Tactical Technology Collective for its Me and My Shadow project, which helps you control data traces, see how you’re being tracked and find out more about the data industry. See The library is located at 313 Main St.
