Available for Putnam dogs, cats and ferrets

The Putnam County Department of Health will sponsor a free rabies vaccination clinic for dogs, cats and ferrets from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at South Putnam Animal Hospital, 230B Baldwin Place Road, Mahopac. Bring photo ID as proof of residency and written evidence of prior rabies vaccination. (Tags are not acceptable.) If you do not have a written certificate, the pet will receive a one-year vaccine.

All dogs must be leashed and well-controlled and cats and ferrets must be in a carrier. Call 845-808-1390, ext. 43127.
