Documentary on indigo textiles

Common Ground Farm and Textile Lab will launch a year-long project to grow, process and dye with indigo with a screening at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, of the 2013 documentary Real Value. The event takes place at More Good, 383 Main St., in Beacon.

In May, seedlings will be transplanted at Common Ground Farm in Wappingers Falls and anyone is invited to help care for, harvest and process the indigo. Workshops on textile repurposing and dyeing techniques will be held in the fall. Email [email protected] for details.
