County to collect in Kent on May 6

Putnam County will collect household hazardous waste for disposal from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 6 at the Canopus Beach Parking Lot on Route 301 in Kent. Materials that can be dropped include cleaners, solvents, oil-based paints, insecticides, herbicides and antifreeze. (Residential waste only.)
