Will be shown each Wednesday

The Beacon Chamber of Commerce will again present free movies each Wednesday at dusk (about 8 p.m.) over the summer outside the Visitors’ Center at South Avenue and Main Street.

The first film, Grease, with John Travolta, will be screened on June 7, followed by Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, with Gene Wilder (June 14), Sherlock Holmes, with Robert Downey Jr. (June 21), Cheaper by the Dozen, with Steve Martin (June 28), The Time of Our Lives, with Abbott and Costello (July 5), Asphalt Jungle (July 12), Despicable Me (July 19), Clue (July 26), Blind Side (Aug. 2), The Princess Bride (Aug. 9), Spiderman (Aug. 16), The Intern (Aug. 23) and The Phantom of the Opera, the musical (Aug. 30).
