Boy Scouts collecting in Fishkill
Boy Scout Troop 65 of Fishkill will be collecting scrap metal from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11, at the Hudson Valley Towne Center parking lot at the intersection of West Merritt Boulevard and Route 9 in Fishkill.
The troop will accept copper, aluminum, steel tubs, sinks, cast-iron, siding, gutters, metal furniture, tools, gas grills, swing sets, screening, electrical wire, bicycles, car batteries and appliances. For larger items such as cars and boats, call Ted Sziklas at 845-264-1096.
