David Bruno
On Wednesday, June 21, the Dutchess County Drug Task Force arrested David Bruno, 40, of Beacon, who was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. The arrest followed an investigation of narcotic sales at a residence on Mead Avenue in Beacon.
Police said they found heroin, scales and packaging materials, as well as $3,000 cash. Bruno was arraigned in the City of Beacon Court and transported to Dutchess County Jail, where he was held without bail.
Elijah Paulin
On Friday, June 23, state police arrested Elijah Paulin, 19, of Beacon, and Jashaun T. Trotman, 18, of Poughkeepsie, on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance. After an investigation by the state police and the Poughkeepsie Police Department, officers stopped the men’s vehicle near Route 9 in Wappingers Falls and said they found 46 grams of heroin.
Paulin and Trotman were arraigned in Village of Wappingers Falls Court and sent to Dutchess County Jail on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
