Clinic scheduled at Hubbard Lodge

The Putnam County Department of Health will hold a free clinic to vaccinate dogs, cats and ferrets against rabies from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 15, at Hubbard Lodge, 2880 Route 9, north of Cold Spring.

Pet-owners should bring a photo ID as proof of Putnam County residency, as well as proof of prior rabies vaccinations. Tags are not acceptable. Pets whose owners cannot provide proof of prior rabies vaccination will receive a one-year, rather than a three-year, vaccine. All dogs must be leashed and cats and ferrets must be in carriers. For information, call 845-808-1390, ext. 43127.
