The section of Routes 6 and 202 known as “the goat trail” near the Bear Mountain Bridge will be closed for annual maintenance work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, through Thursday, July 20.
Eastbound drivers will need to travel north on Route 9D to Garrison and turn right on Route 403 to reach Route 9. Westbound drivers will need to travel north on Route 9 to Garrison, turn left on Route 403 at Appalachian Market and then drive south on Route 9D to the Bear Mountain Bridge.
