Avery Road Bridge Reopens

The town bridge on Avery Road near Indian Brook Road in Garrison, which was closed on May 16, has reopened to traffic.

The project was authorized by the Philipstown Town Board last year after New York State flagged the bridge in 2015 as needing repair. The board accepted a bid in March of $204,751.10 for the work from Land Works Excavating of Pawling.

The bridge over Indian Brook on the north end of Avery Road has reopened.
